This simple answer is; NO, purchasing items takes away from the journey of obtaining the items yourself and therefore the accomplishment when finally reaching that goal. You bought a game to play it and then you buy stuff to not play it? That’s weird to me but this article is not to judge you but to tell you about your options before you actually buy Borderlands 3 items online.
Sidenote: If a publisher opens an in-game store and sells you the exact same items, “everyone” would call them out on disgusting micro-transaction practices. On the other hand, if a publisher did setup an in-game store the items on there would probably be cheaper than the ones you can purchase today. But that’s beside the point. How to get the best items in Borderlands 3?
Some sites that sell Borderlands 3 items want you to believe that getting these legendary items by yourself is a tedious chore. They tell you that most of the legendary items are random world drops and are almost impossible to obtain. However, what they don’t tell you is that since the November patch al legendary world drops have been given a dedicated loot source. Alternative ways to get legendary items
These item retailers often use character builds that are made by popular content creators who actually share their save files. So instead of buying these items, you can actually just download them.
