Hey, I know it has been a while but I thought I’ll give you an update on how things are going and what I have been up to on the site. A lot has happened and with this channel update, I want to fill you in on what is going on and what I’m working on.

Personally
Things have been going well lately. I have made some changes in my life and I’m feeling more rested and therefore getting more stuff done.
I always want to make a kick-ass website but because I was running on low energy for a long time, things didn’t always live up to my hopes. Some things didn’t get the love and attention I would want to give them but it was all I could do at that time.
Hopefully, this update shows that I’m making good progress because I want to deliver quality content to you. I want this site to be a resource to the community!
Website
I have been working hard on the website, although those things aren’t immediately seen. I actually went back and took a look at my old content. My old content? Yes, because when I started out, the site was completely different. As the site evolved so did the new content, however, the old content was stuck in the past. Also, there is a trend within the community where older games are popular again. So during my vacation in August and for a portion of September, I went back and check a ton of content.
Old is New
I spell-checked a lot of older content as back then things were just a little hobby. I fixed some headings and added a table of content here and there. In some cases, I added a bit more context to the article as some things were written at the moment expecting that you were up-to-date on everything.
I spell-checked all Godfall, Evolve, Tales from the Borderlands, Borderlands (1), Borderlands Movie, and my own News Articles.
I also updated the videos in these HUBs as some of the old ones got deleted, set to private, or age-restricted, and therefore aren’t suitable to be embedded. So I had to find the videos that I could use. I might even go back and upload everything to my own Youtube channel so things like this don’t happen again.
Evolve
Evolve was kinda on the backburner back in the day therefore some articles only showcased a trailer and didn’t have any text going along with it. Therefore, I went back and added my own personal thoughts that went through my mind back in the day.
Battleborn
As Gearbox Software announced that they were shutting down their official forums, I archived the extended Battleborn lore and a few other things that were up on the forums. Because I also didn’t want to see this content disappear.
Related to this, I also fixed a bunch of links on the site that pointed to articles up on the GBX Forums. Some of them now link to archived versions on the Wayback Machine.
Borderlands 2
- Transformed the main Borderlands 2 HUB page from a news feed to a wiki resource. This makes it easier to find the most importantBL2 content.
- Added a DLC overview page
- Added a guide overview page
- Spell-check news articles
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel
- Transformed the main Borderlands the Pre-Sequel HUB page from a news feed to a wiki resource. This makes it easier to find the most important BLTPS content.
- Updated the Grinder Guide
- Added level cap explanation
- Added a DLC overview page
- Added a guide overview page
- Spell-check news and guide articles
Borderlands 4
I added a Borderlands 4 HUB to the site because, after the release of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the community is looking forward to the next big thing.
I did write two articles about what we know so far.
I have a ton of BL4 content ideas that I could write about, however, I’m committed to getting my current projects done.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has kept me busy for most of the year. While a lot of big content creators have moved on to other things. I’m still committed to the game and getting quality guides up on the site.
I still need to catch up on some things and there are a lot of topics that I can still cover. I will get there but like everything else, things take time.
I have been keeping up with the weekly updates and I’m making good progress on TTWL content this month. But I’ll cover that in the next BattleBread Update.
New Tales From The Borderlands
Since the announcement of New Tales From The Borderlands, I have put out a bunch of cool articles, however, the hype for this game doesn’t seem to be that high within the community. That said, I’m still going to cover it.
NTFTB is a different game therefore the content is also going to be a bit different from the main Borderlands games. However, I’m looking forward to this game.
The Future of the Site
As you can see above, I already did a lot of stuff and there is more to come! I’m excited to cover the current games, brush up some of the older content, and work on new exciting things!
