I’m always looking to improve the website and sometimes that can be a challenging thing to do. With the HUB Pages of each game, I wanted to give an overview of what the site has to offer and give a glimpse of what’s new. However, since I started adding more and more resources to the site for some games, the old layout became cluttered. This didn’t help new and recurring visitors on their journey.
Therefore, I changed the layout of some of the Borderlands 3 & Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands HUB pages. Now, these have more of a Wiki feel to them instead of a blog feed feel. As I structured the into groups, I hope that you are more able to find your way around the different facets that the site has to offer.
Hub Page Structure
- You will still find the 3 latest articles at the top which is followed by a “More News” button that lets you dive into all the news posts.
- Then you will find 2 featured articles. These are things a lot of folks look for. On the Borderlands 3 HUB, you will find links to the SHiFT Codes and Black Market articles.
- At the bottom, you will find a Wiki section that has all the important resources. This is followed up with a “More Guides” button that brings you to a dedicated page that lists all the guides. Here is an example from the Borderlands 3 HUB Page.
I want to provide information that’s helpful for new players but also give access to more in-depth info more veteran players tend to seek out.
