Enemy Description
The Demoskaggons are ‘Named Enemies’ in Borderlands 3. They used to be a ‘Rare Spawn’ and not always show up, however, Gearbox Software changed the spawn rate to 100%. There will always spawn 2 Demoskaggons. They are a bit darker and have red veins across their body and a glowing red mouth. You can get the side mission “Kill Demoskaggon” from the bounty board on Sanctuary III. Defeating Haunted versions of the Demoskaggons is one of the Bloody Harvest challenges you need to complete during the seasonal event.
Demoskaggons Location
You can find Demoskaggons in the map The Droughts on the planet Pandora. You want Fast Travel to the starting location of the map. Run to the left and pick up a vehicle because you need to jump over the gap in the road. Drive towards the Bloodbucket’s Chappel. This is the location where you needed to shoot the guy in the butt. Just behind his hideout, there is a small natural arena. There you encounter a Skag den and the Demoskaggons.

Demoskaggons Loot Pool
You can farm the Demoskaggons for these legendary weapons as they are the dedicated loot source for these items. The Demoskaggons have a 6.7% legendary drop chance each.
The Demoskaggons also have a 6.7% chance of dropping the Hunt(ed), a Rare Jakobs Sniper that deals increased against robots, however, be aware of your Autosell settings if you want this unique non-legendary item.
Demoskaggons Guide
You encounter the Demoskaggons together with a group of skag. Because you are facing multiple fast-moving enemies you need to try and keep your distance. While Skags are usually vulnerable to incendiary damage, the Demoskaggons are actually immune to this damage type. Therefore, you need to switch to another damage type. Use non-elemental weapons, Cryo, or Radiation weapons to maximize your damage. The Demoskaggons are pretty beefy, therefore, you want to take out the other Skag first so you don’t get overwhelmed by them.

- TIP: Avoid Incendiary weapons on the Demoskaggons.
- STRATEGY: Quickly take out the other skag before focusing on the Demoskaggons.
- WEAKNESS: They have a limited attack range.
- CRIT SPOT: Inside the mouth when they taunt you.
