Boss Description
GenIVIV is a ‘Boss’ in Borderlands 3. He is the 6th boss you will encounter in the game.
GenIVIV is located in Voracious Canopy on the planet Eden-6. You encounter her at the end of the Jakobs flagship called the Family Jewel.
You can farm GenIVIV for these legendary weapons as it is the dedicated loot source for these items. GenIVIV has a 30% legendary drop chance.
GenIVIV Guide
GenIVIV is a very quick boss that will swift across the arena. She has 1 blue shield bar and 1 yellow armor bar that you need to take down.
This fight can be chaos due to the quick movement of GenIVIV, the barriers, and the energy orbs that bounce around.
The Barriers only appear once you taken down her Shield as the fight goes into phase 2. You can go through the barriers as they don’t deal damage to you, but they do stop your bullets from passing through.
You can ignore those smaller flying drones that spawn during this boss fight. They don’t deal a lot of damage, yes they could keep your shield from recharging, but they are an easy way to score a second wind.
You can avoid stepping in the center of the arena and shoot at GenIVIV from a distance.
Your main problem is dodging the mines and bouncing orbs.
