Tyrant of Instinct is a Proving Ground Boss in Borderlands 3. You encounter them at the end of the Trial of Instinct on Wayward Tether.

You can farm Tyrant of Instinct for the Cosmic Stalker and the Red Fang as it is the dedicated loot source for these items. But on True Trials, it also drops the Backburner and the Tizzy. Tyrant of Instinct’s legendary items have a 50% drop chance.
