This Zane Build by ThiccFilA utilizes the Digi-clone and 30% ammo regeneration anointment. The MNTIS Canon is great for triggering action skill anointments. This setup doesn’t use the skill ‘Fractal Frags’ because, with the Seein’ Dead class mod, you will constantly trigger this kill skill. This would result in your Digi-clone constantly throwing grenades but he’s more effective by shooting enemies.

I was curious if you had a specific order of skills to assign them, for maximum effectiveness?

When you are still leveling up towards the build, loot at what suits your playstyle and what skills have synergy. Starting out you wanna do put in 5 skills per tier and don’t max out 1 skill. That way you can move on to the next set of skills. The gamechanger skill halfway a skill tree is very beneficial (definitely in the Hitman tree). Personally, I would go work on the Blue skill tree first than Red and finally Purple.
