The first big Battleborn Tournament with a large money prize is a fact. Versus Gaming is organizing the Choctaw Festival of Gaming in Durant, Oklahoma, with a bonus pot of $10k at the Choctaw Hotel & Casino. The tournament held on March 3rd till March 5th and will be played on PlayStation 4 (PS4). This tournament will also be streamed online for people (like me) who are not able to attend this event. If you and your team want to participate you can sign up on their site, and if you want to participate but don’t have a team yet, there is a thread on the GBX forums where players are teaming up.
Teams will battle it out in the game modes Meltdown and Incursion, with a stronger emphasis on Meltdown. Players won’t be able to use legendary Gear during the tournament, there will be a limited gear set available. Gearbox picked 40 unique items that should provide for interesting loadouts.
