Fortnite is scheduled to launch as a free-to-play game in 2018 and it was recently released in Early Access on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However this Beta is currently only playable if you purchased one of the paid version of the game. You got the $40 standard version that comes with access to the game as well as some loot packs and cosmetic items. Then there are the $60 Deluxe, $80 Super Deluxe, and $150 Limited Editions which include more bonuses like additional heroes, weapon packs, and other stuff. In spite of the fact that the game will be free-to-play next year, Fortnite is already selling a lot of copies. Earlier today on Twitter the creative director of Fortnite, Darren Sugg, mentioned that over 500,000 people have already purchased the game.
