Battleborn Servers Going Offline

The Solus System will go dark as Gearbox Software and 2K Games are now in the process of gradually sunsetting Battleborn. Phase 1 is already complete as the game is no longer available for purchase on any of the digital stores. If you own the game then Phase 2 and 3 will affect you. After February 24, 2020, you will no longer be able to purchase Platinum for use in the game. The Battleborn servers will remain active and the game will continue to be playable until January 2021. After that, the game won’t be playable anymore since it needs an online connection to track and store your progress. Battleborn won’t be getting a patch that will allow the game to be played offline. Instead, Gearbox Software and 2K Games will focus their efforts and resources on other projects

Battleborn Day 2020
The Battleborn Day team is looking to do 1 more community event in 2020 to celebrate this awesome game. We are currently brainstorming and already have some cool ideas, however, we have to look into what is possible and how to execute them. Stay tuned and you probably want to set your calendar for May 1-3, 2020.
