There is always the possibility that an individual code gives issues with your account. This could be a one-time thing. If you keep encountering these or some other sort of issues there might be a solution to your problem in the knowledge base or you can submit a ticket.

Here is the official guide provided by the Gearbox Software helpdesk on how to redeem these exclusive codes.

In the main menu of Borderlands 2, select “Extras.”
Select “Shift Codes” from the “Extras” menu.
From the “My Offers” screen, choose “Shift Code.”
Enter your 25-digit SHiFT code for Borderlands 2, then hit “Submit.”

just wanted to say thanks. I’ve had borderlands for a while, even have the new one on ps4 and have gotten 75 keys from this for borderlands 2. I still have about 10 more codes to enter that don’t expire. I wish I stayed up to date with these expiring codes, but I’m glad for the one’s that don’t expire.

Now just need to level up some more before I start using them, debating if I should use them at level 72 or at level 51? Either way don’t want to use them all up now at level 32…

The “WT5JJ-3HJW9-JJRTZ-J3BJJ-XBKJF” code from 10/29/2021 is a previously published, now expired code, sent out by mistake. Hopefully, GearBox will publish a valid one to replace it.

A big huge thanks for these keys & the one-click Copy. Am playing B2 again after 3 years and my in-game Shift code submission part wasn’t working, so I was quite disappointed with the one key I had from the start & am at Level 24. Try as I might, even the brand new code was not accepted from within the game. Then after enough frustration I went to my Shift account to make sure it was working and decided to C&P all of them into there instead. That worked perfectly & I now have 230 Golden Keys…yay.
