In the latest Borderlands 2 VR trailer for PlayStation VR, there is a little disclosure tag that mentions that the game is a timed exclusive.
Borderlands 2 VR will be a platform exclusive for at least 5 months. After this period has ended Gearbox Software and 2K Games are free to release the game on other platforms.
So if you are one of the people that is hoping for a PC release, then your chances have significantly increased. I know a lot of people want to play this on their Oculus Rift or Vive.

Borderlands 2 VR is the vanilla game that is optimized for virtual reality. During my interview with Nicky, I learned that Borderlands 2 VR has a lot of options to make the game as comfortable as possible for you.
On the PlayStation 4, you can use Move controllers or the regular Dual Shock controller. You can choose to move freely like you are custom to in any other game or teleport from spot to spot to reduce motion sickness. Even if you choose to move freely around you can still play around with the teleport feature.
Another enhancement to boost your experience comes in the form of blinders. There is an option that reduces your field of view to reduce motion sickness. You can choose how much narrower your field of view gets, however, if you are a VR pro, you can also choose to disable the feature entirely.
These are all optional depending on how much experience you have with VR. So if you are a newbie or a die-hard, Borderlands 2 VR delivers the Borderlands experience suited for you.
