This Live Action trailer of Borderlands 2 VR is meant to hype you up for the game, however, I noticed a lot of people actually got more excited for the Borderlands Movie after seeing Maya kick ass in this trailer. And I must say that it looks great, I do enjoy the addition of the loader bots in this video.
Borderlands’ style has always been defined by its black outlines around characters and objects, This is something that was absent from the live-action trailer. I don’t know if this should be added to the movie because then you probably want to add more VFX to replicate that art style. But I’m getting off track, so if you want to talk some more about the Borderlands movie, leave a message in the comments or contact me on social media.
If you are curious about gameplay footage you can check out my gameplay analysis video where I found out some interesting details. While the gameplay footage isn’t high res in that video, you probably know you can expect the same graphical fidelity as Borderlands the Handsome Collection as shown in the Borderlands 2 VR announcement trailer.
Borderlands 2 VR will release on December 14, 2018, and will retail for $49.99/£39.99. You can pre-order from the PlayStation store, which includes an exclusive PlayStation theme.
