Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest Event is Live!

Are you ready for frightful festivities and rewards, Vault Hunter? Bloody Harvest returns!

Bloody Harvest Event is Live

Get ready to take on terrifying enemies because the Bloody Harvest is back. This seasonal event will be active from October 8 to November 5 at 9:00 AM PT. During these festivities, you need to help out Maurice and collect enough Hecktoplasm for him. You need to defeat enough haunted enemies throughout the universe. If you successfully obtained enough Hecktoplasm, Maurice will open up a portal that allows you to travel to Heck. On this exclusive event map, you can take on Captain Haunt and earn new legendary weapons.

A lot has happened to the game since the last time we played this seasonal event. Because we now have Mayhem Level 10 and a lot stronger anointments, Gearbox Software updated the old event-specific items and anoints. The following changes will impact existing and newly dropped guns with Terror anointments on them during Bloody Harvest.

Event Weapon

  • Fearmonger (Weapon info)
    • Increased number of bullets shot per Terror level
    • Increased weapon damage
  • Stalker (Weapon info)
    • Increased weapon damage

  • Anointment  “While Terrified, enemy bullets have a chance to reflect off you. The more Terror you have, the higher the bonus.”

  • Anointment “On Action Skill End, apply Terror to yourself every 5 seconds for the next 18 seconds.”
    • Adjusted the text to match what was happening in-game

Bloody Harvest Announcement

The return of the Bloody Harvest Event has just been announced by Gearbox Software and 2K Games. This seasonal Halloween event will go live next week, however, we need to wait just a little longer for all the details. So stay tuned for that. I’ll update the article as soon as I hear more.

Bloody Harvest Returns

Bloody Harvest is Borderlands’ Halloween event and made its appearance in some shape or form in previous games. Last year, the Bloody Harvest event was the first seasonal event for Borderlands 3. It introduced us to Maurice and how awesome seasonal events can be. It featured a new area and provided challenges to complete. Bloody Harvest also introduced us to a new status effect called Terror and gave us some cool new legendary gear to farm for.

Last year, the event lasted pretty long and not everyone was enjoying all the skulls during their normal playthrough. Luckily, we now have the ability to toggle events on or off. Also, not everyone was a fan of the terror anointments in the game. However, everything was new back then and we were all still discovering how things worked. Anointments are more common these days and are part of the end-game builds. I’m curious to see if they return and what the community can do with them, this time around. Since we have had the last level cap increase, for the foreseeable future, I’m excited to get my hands on an LVL65 M10 Ghast Call.
