Get a first look at the new Borderlands 3 story campaign addon. Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is also known as DLC4 and is part of the season pass. In this DLC you will go into the mind of Krieg and uncover the secrets of Vaulthalla. Patrica Tannis thinks that the key to discovering this mystical place is inside the mind of a psycho. Luckily, we have one of the most badass psychos on the team, Krieg. Throughout your journey, you will have to go through the twisted memories of Krieg.
One of the memories takes place in Castle Crimson. In this gore-filled location, you need to infiltrate a COV stronghold. This event was mentioned in one of the echologs you could find in the base game.
Connor Thomas Cleary is the lead writer on DLC4 and he was also surprised that the name for this story campaign addon got greenlight.
Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is made by the Gearbox Studio in Frisco and the Gearbox Studio in Quebec.
You encounter ‘Sane Krieg’ (Blue) and ‘Psycho Krieg’ (Red) during this DLC.
The train seen in the trailer is called Locomobius and is not the famous pooptrain. Locomobius has stolen the memory of someone special close to you (probably Maya?), therefore you have to hunt down the train and retrieve the stolen memory.
We will also dive into the backstory of Krieg and find out what made him the man/men he is.
The mission ‘Inhuman Trials’ requires you to pick up various loaderbot parts.
It looks like we will be getting new Storage Deck Upgrades (SDUs) with this DLC as throughout the gameplay presentation you can see increased ammo capacities.
In conjunction with DLC4 there will be a free level cap increase. You will be able to reach level 65 once this update goes live.
