My Take
Gearbox Software has experience with these move sets as some of the Battleborn characters had a few of these moves. I really enjoyed playing as Caldarius back in the day as he is a fast character and could dodge enemy attacks by quickly using his trustees.
The Gliding mechanic I spoke about could be limited to the Grapple mechanic but I think it could result to interesting gameplay.
