UPDATE JUNE 10, 2025: Borderlands 4 was not showcased during the Summer Games Fest 2025. The first upcoming event is the Borderlands Fan Fest, where fans, streamers, and content creators get a Borderlands 4 hands-on gameplay experience.

Geoff Keighley announced a record number of partners that will attend Summer Games Fest 2025, and 2K Games is one of the publishers. It’s currently unknown which games 2K will feature during the show; however, it’s likely that they will showcase their big upcoming titles. This means I’m expecting Borderlands 4 and Mafia: The Old Country as they are both set to release after the summer.
The Summer Games Fest 2025 will be broadcast at:

- YouTube: GameAwards
Additionally, on June 8, there will also be an Xbox Showcase and a PC Gaming Show.
I kinda expect Borderlands 4 only passing by in Xbox’s 3rd party compilation video, as Borderlands 4 has partnered with PlayStation for the most part.
I think Borderlands 4 could show up during the PC Gaming Show, as they did this during the promotion of Borderlands 3 back in the day. Borderlands 3’s Creative Director answers several community questions about the game.
