  • Kraggon kills will now contribute the correct amount towards the “Big Game Hunt” challenge.
  • Iwajira’s is now less likely to drop legendary loot.
  • “Did you see that?!” – Limited the number of critical hit dialogue call-outs.
  • The Rosie’s continuous damage bonus has been reduced.
  • Miss Moxxi’s Probe’s lifesteal bonus and critical modifiers have been reduced.

Ol’ Rosie

This is a Unique Maliwan laser weapon and is obtained by completing the mission “The Beginning of the End” on True Vault Hunter Mode. It’s red text:”Every thorn has its rose” means that it has a very high continuous damage bonus. So it’s long fire burst are highly recommended with this gun. The Ol’ Rosie comes in all elemental types (Shock, Corrosive, Cryo, or Fire). As a balance issue this unique laser weapon’s continuous damage bonus has dropped from  +518% to +368%.

Miss Moxxi’s Probe

The Probe is a unique maliwan pistol and is a mission item that is acquired during the mission “Torgue-o! Torgue-o!” that takes place early on inside Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. It’s a Moxxi weapon and gives you health regeneration every time you shoot an enemy. A percentage of the damage is transferred as health to your vault hunter. The Probe’s health regeneration would normally function as the ‘Grog Nozzle’ from Borderlands 2 , giving you a lot of buff. So much that if you kept shooting you simply could not die. With this hot fix it’s health regeneration drops from 65% to 2%. Also the Probe is a very weak weapon on itself and with reduced critical damage this gun will now function as intended for the mission and no longer functions as a free cheap health regeneration tool.

Iwajira

The “secret” boss, Iwajira inside Borderlands the Pre-Sequel had a high chance of dropping the Legendary SCAV Launcher:  The Thingy. An always Corrosive rocket launcher that will fire 3 small grenades upon impact is now less likely to drop. Before the hotfix, I was able to get this weapon 1 out of 3.  It was a good source for your legendaries that you needed to use in the grinder. Those days are over.
