Australian classification system seems to have given a rating to Borderlands Remastered Edition. The remastered version of the first game is getting the same rating as the original Borderlands. That means that some blood & gore will be back. The author is assigned to Gearbox Software because it’s their game, but also 2K Australia. So after creating the Borderlands the Pre-Sequel, 2K Aus is responsible for a remake of Borderlands 1.
Some of the critiques on the original Borderlands was that the environment felt a bit empty and lacked color, everything was greyish brown. So hopefully there are some upgrades to the landscape and it is not just flying dust and rolling tumbleweeds.
The Creative Director on Borderlands 2, Paul Hellquist, said that they wanted more control over the loot pool and other stuff than they had in the first game. So hopefully they will implement some of the new features so that the loot won’t be as random.
