Claptrap might not be able to use stairs but he’s able to use social media as he managed to hack his way into the official Borderlands Movie account on Twitter/X. Now that Claptrap has taken the reins, he is also interacting with fans on the social media platform.

The community is running with this Claptrap takeover but apparently, a lot of folks have questions about Claptrap’s feelings toward stairs, while others show off their fandom by posting Claptrap merch (if Claptrap’s ego wasn’t big enough).
I liked Byrd’s comment about more bots on Elon’s social platform as if there aren’t enough already but Claptrap suggests he is great company XD
Another one is a Tweet by Empire Enemy that posts their cat pictures and Claptrap asks which model that is, Ki11erSix replies: it’s a C4T model.
My Perspective
One of the Borderlands characters taking over a social media account is always a fun way to interact with the community. Gearbox Software had done a similar thing back in the day when they were promoting other Borderlands content as we had a General Knoxx takeover before the release of the General Knoxx DLC for Borderlands (1).
I’m curious if this hype will lead toward a new movie trailer, maybe one that is self-centered around Claptrap, on how he is the hero in this movie.
