Paul Sage, Creative Director of The Elder Scrolls Online, has left Bethesda in order to join Gearbox Software. He will fulfill the role of Creative Director on an unknown project. Gearbox announced earlier this year that they needed more people to help work on Borderlands 3.
Paul Sage’s Facebook page states that he is moving to Austin is the main reason why he switched jobs. Could it be that he will take on the scepter from Paul Hellquist who was Creative Director on Borderlands 2?
Since Paul Sage worked on The Elder Scrolls Online, could this mean that Borderlands 3 will incorporate more MMO elements? Would you like to see a more open-world version of Borderlands with a hub city where you meet other vault hunters and join quests?
