What are ‘Lucky Dice’?
Throughout the Gameplay Trailer of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you see multiple 20-sided Dice. I have screenshots of all of them down below. While some of them are hard to spot in the footage, they actually aren’t very well hidden in the world. This initially made me think they are a collectible rather than a challenge.
Maybe you remember the hidden Vault Symbols from Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. It was speculated by the community that these Lucky Dice could be something like that. However, that is not the case and if you are lucky they can be very beneficial.
This is how ‘Lucky Dice’ work in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Lucky Dice are scattered throughout the world of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. When you find one it will actually roll in front of you and a number will pop out. The number you get will correspond to the quality of the loot. The higher the number the better the loot will that will pop up. “Make it Rain!”
This kinda reminded me of the Dice Chests in Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. These also let you roll dice and the better the roll the better the loot. In the ‘Assault on Dragon keep’ DLC you could influence the roll through a financial incentive, it’s currently not known if that’s also possible with the Lucky Dice in Wonderlands.
The quality of the loot seems to be dependent on how lucky your roll is, however, in the Borderlands games your loot has always been up to the RNG-Gods. You can randomly get a legendary from a simple locker but some sources have a higher chance. These Lucky Dice seem to be a good source for quality loot.
Hidden Dice in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Here are all the hidden dice I could find in the gameplay trailer most of them are very hard to spot. Throughout the footage your attention is focused on the big thing in front of you however, there is a lot to discover.
