Free Update
Keith Lee, CEO of Counterplay Games, just announced that they will be delivering a free content update to Godfall. This Primal Content Update is coming in Q1 2021 and will provide more challenges to put your build to the test. Additionally, there will be a way for you to progress and improve your character even after you reached max level. More details about the Primal Content update will be revealed at a later date.
Godfall isn’t a live-service title crammed with in-game microtransactions or seasonal passes but this Primal Content update sounds great as the game felt a bit short. Getting more content to bite your teeth in is more than welcome. But like mentioned before, Godfall isn’t a live-service so they don’t have to do it. So Kudos to Gearbox Publishing and Counterplay Games for delivering a free content update. They also have been pushing out 5 patches for Godfall in 4 weeks’ time and that last one addresses a lot of stuff.
More Godfall Content
With the announcement of the Primal Content Update, Keith Lee also gave an indication on when we can expect the first expansion for Godfall. This Paid DLC is planned to release in Q2 2021 and is included in the Deluxe and Ascended Godfall Bundles.
Besides that Counterplay Games continues to work on making Godfall the best game possible with stability and performance as the top priority.
