Gearbox Software and 2K Games announced that the new Guardian Takedown will receive some adjustments. They will start by lowering the enemy’s health early next week. A common piece of feedback is that the enemies in the Takedown at the Guardian Breach are basically bullet sponges. Gearbox will likely deploy a hotfix after the weekend that will make the takedown more enjoyable. The announcement ends with “More info to come” suggesting that maybe more adjustments are being looked into. I have seen some complaints about the low drop rates for the new Guardian Takedown legendary loot. Also, the knockback is pretty significant resulting in uncalled for deaths.
Thank you to everyone who has played Takedown at the Guardian Breach since the patch! We have some adjustments in the works based on player feedback, starting with a reduction to enemy health early next week. More info to come! pic.twitter.com/dykqSW6z7p

I appreciate that Gearbox is listening to the community and making adjustments appropriately. I do want to mention that not everything in the game can be fixed by simply lowering a value and pushing a new hotfix 5 minutes later. If there is coding required it does take time and can hopefully be included into the next big content patch. – MentalMars
