Gearbox Software announced that Haley Bennett is cast for the upcoming Borderlands Movie. However, her role is a mystery for now as her character description doesn’t fit one of the known characters in the game.
All we know at the moment is that Haley’s character will be “the key to Lilith‘s past”. Which could basically mean anything at this moment.
Is she a Siren and does she have the ability to see through time? In the game Borderlands 3, we learned that Siren powers are transferred once they die. Is it possible to look back at the events that previous Sirens witnessed? Kinda like Assassin’s Creed where the memories of our ancestors are being stored in our DNA and they managed to unlock those and relive them.
Having the power to look at past events could give us a glimpse at the events that the games only hinted at. What’s the deal with the Destroyer and how are the Eridian involved?
