Iconic Borderlands Map Remade in Unreal Engine 5

I Remade Fyrestone from Borderlands in Unreal Engine 5

Borderlands fan, EpicNNG, remade the classic Fyrestone map from the classic Borderlands game and updated it so that it would fit into the Borderlands 3 timeframe.

Fyrestone is the starting map of Borderlands (1) where you first meet Claptrap and Dr. Zed. This map was iconic as it taught you the fundamentals of the first looter-shooter. Because before Borderlands there were no games that really had RPG elements.

This iconic map already received a makeover in Borderlands 2, as the landscape changed when Hyperion took over. However, how would the environment be impacted after the fall of Hyperion and the rise of COV as we transition from Borderlands 2 to Borderlands 3? There can happen a lot in 7 years’ time.

The guy responsible for this reimagination is EpicNNG. He also helped create the Borderlands Redux and Wonderlands Redux mods that leveled up the end game of Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
