Immortals of Aveum is a single-player, first-person magic shooter. You play as Jak and you weren’t born with the ability to cast magic, however, now you gained the rare power to harness all 3 magic types.
You are recruited by General Kirkan to join the Order of the Immortals. Alongside these powerful magic-wielders, you will fight against Rasharn in the Everwar.
Like every trailer these days, this one also starts with a teaser to get you hooked on what’s to come. That said, I was amazed by that what follows. The cinematics looks cool and all and the environments look beautiful.
The shooting looks fast-paced and has a visual flair because you are casting magic spells. The montage goes very fast and there is a lot going on in the scenes. I believe there is a small zoom in there to spice up the trailer but I do hope there isn’t a lot of visual clutter due to the fact you are rapidly casting spells.
That said, it looks very appealing and badass. I was already playing as the Spellshot in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands a lot and Immortals of Aveum looks to provide a whole new level of magic which I’m excited for. I’m curious to find out more about all the gear you can find and the talents in the skill tree.
