Hey and welcome to another Channel Update. In these blogs, I want to give you an update on what has been going on in my life and on the website as I strive to create a kickass resource for you.
February was a chill month not a lot of things going on in my life. Business as usual I guess. My youngest son is going to school these days so, I have been bringing him and picking him up from school. Little kids grow up.
I have been researching some things to level up the site. Looking into ways to enhance your experience and how to add more value to my Patreon supporters.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Gearbox Software missed one weekly rotation and folks start panicking if the game is being abandoned. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands isn’t getting the same post-launch support as Borderlands 3 because it’s a new franchise for Gearbox Software. Spin-off games usually don’t perform well but TTWL shattered their expectations. New Wonderlands Experiences are being developed it’s just not known what that actually means.
I wrote an in-depth article about Gearbox’s support for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
I have been covering the Weekly Rotations every week, except that one they missed. Judging from the last hotfix, it seems the rotations are now automated instead of them posting a new hotfix update each week.
There was a new Redfall reveal during IGN’s Fan Fest and Arkane Studios did a Q&A. I added those to the site but also added all of the new info to the related dedicated pages to enhance them in case you want a complete picture/deep dive on a topic.
There is one topic that I wrote a deep dive about and that is Crossplay for Redfall. All the articles that I could find at the time didn’t have the answer and didn’t cover what you should be aware of when playing crossplay.
There was a big reveal event to which a bunch of creators and media were invited to attend but they won post anything until later this month. I will break down all the info that comes from that and add it to the Redfall Wiki.
While keeping up to date on the present things, I also went back and added a bunch of content to the Borderlands 3 Wiki. More BL3 content is in the works.
- Updated the weekly Blacket Market Location, Where is Maurice?
- Added and still adding enemy info to the site
- Added all the missing drop rates to the site
- Supported the new Community Challenge, Raid Rundown.
I kinda stealth launched this Borderlands 4 HUB on my site and added 2 basic articles to it. I have been writing down other interesting Borderlands 4 articles but didn’t plan to post them until there was some news about the game. However, I see my fellow content creators are also starting to talk about potential features for the game. Therefore, I’m also going to start posting my ideas.
I was a bit quiet on social media and not making any content for that. I took a bit of time to create some fun social media content.
A fun one was the “WHO IS THIS” post where I created a silhouette of one of the Borderlands 3 characters and the community had to guess who it is. I started with an easy one some will be more challenging but I didn’t want to make them very obscure or something.
There is more content coming up so if you want to check that out follow me on Facebook or Twitter as I would love to interact with you!
