Redfall is the latest game developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is going to release on Xbox Series X|S, GamePass, and PC. However, a burning question the community has is if the game will support Crossplay and if the community can play with each other across platforms. Because Redfall isn’t just an open-world single-player game but also a Co-op Multiplayer experience.
Yes, Redfall supports Crossplay! Arkane Studios confirmed during a Community Q&A that you will be able to play the game with your friends whether they are playing on PC or Xbox GamePass. But before you dive in, this is what you need to know!
Redfall Crossplay: This is what you need to know!
You and your friends can play any hero you like in Redfall. You can both be the same character or choose different ones so you can create synergies between the characters.
The progress of the story campaign will only be saved for the host while playing crossplay. Your character progression will be saved so you will be able to gain XP, Level Up your character, and keep your loot.
The game’s difficulty will scale depending on the number of players. You will encounter more elite enemies when playing co-op multiplayer.
Redfall doesn’t feature “level sync”. The enemies will scale accordingly to the level of the host. This means that you can join your friend with an under-leveled or overpowered character. Ideally, you want to be around the same character level.
