Arkane Studios had plans to support its game, Redfall, with new content and modes. This is an overview of what the developers have done after Redfall’s releases on May 2, 2023. Sadly, development has been discontinued.
No, Microsoft Cancels Redfall DLC and shuts down Arkane Studios.
Hotfixes & Patch
Support the game with Hotfixes & Patch updates.
Performance Mode
Redfall only launches with a Quality Mode on Xbox Series X|S. Sadly, Arkane Studios wasn’t able to get the performance mode up to the level of quality that they want on the release date. Therefore, Redfall will run at 30 frames per second instead of 60 frames per second. The Performance Mode added to Xbox Series X|S at a later date. If you are playing the game on a PC, you are not affected by this decision.
Offline Mode
The Game’s Creative Director has mentioned that they are looking into adding an Offline Mode to Redfall. While they are actively working on it Harvey Smith did mention he couldn’t make any promises at the time.
Additional Content
We have plans for additional guns, costumes, monsters, characters, and more that we can’t talk about right now. But we have a strong year of updates, and it’s all either in the current game or it will be DLC. We try to do it as fairly as possible for people.

Additional Characters
The Bite Back Edition and Hero Pass of Redfall come with 2 additional playable characters. These new heroes will both have new skills and offer unique gameplay. They will be released later down the line as post-launch content. No specific date has been announced as of yet.
Live Service
Redfall is an Always-Online game. While the developer didn’t mention any ongoing events or weekly hotfixes. Arkane Studios does look at the player data to tweak the game.
