Test Screening For The Borderlands Movie Has Started

A Reddit user shared that they got invited to a test screening of the Borderlands Movie. The preview event had 2 slots on November 9th at an unknown location. Sadly the person wasn’t able to secure a slot as it was already fully booked.

The test screening is organized by Screening Squad. When you register for this program you are able to see preview versions of a movie.

These screenings are used to test the audience’s reactions and use that feedback to level up the movie. This could result in re-editing segments or even doing reshoots or pick-ups.

The invitation to the Borderlands Movie mentions it’s based on the hit video game franchise and that it’s starring Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Jack Black.

Like the rest of the Borderlands Community, I’m curious about the movie and wondering when we will be able to see it for ourselves. I know there were two cinema events where Lionsgate has shown footage of the movie. I’m curious about what was shown but I also want to see a trailer.

The Borderlands Movie was initially set to be released in 2022, however, it looks like they are not going to reach that time window. I guess we will have to wait a few months.
