Excited Developers
Senior Producer Kayla Belmore is giving you an overview of what you can expect from Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. This presentation was part of Gearbox Entertainments’ E3 2021 showcase. The interview starts with Kayla making me curious what that thing is that gets her excited about the game. It’s always great to see the developers of a game get all excited about their projects.
About Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
What’s unique about Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is that it’s a looter shooter, which is pretty classic for Gearbox Software, but for the first time ever they are setting it in a fantasy environment.
Even while the game is inspired by Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep from Borderlands 2. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a new plot and set of characters but it is a full stand-alone game. You can come across references to the past but you don’t have to have played any of the previous games, you can jump right in.
Borderlands 3 vs Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
You will encounter a wide variety of enemy types and yes you will fight these Wyvern shown above. Definitely, you cannot have a fantasy game without Goblins, however, like always Gearbox Software likes to put their own twist on these enemies. Notice that the shark has legs as it jumps out of the water in the Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands announcement trailer.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be released on March 25, 2022, on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and PC (Epic Exclusive, Steam Release later in 2022)
