Why Vault Cards Need To Return To Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a good game however the end game is mainly centered around the Chaos Chamber. While this newly designed gauntlet offers a variety of maps and challenges it also feels like the same rooms all over again. I believe I have the idea to add variety to Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ end game.

Gearbox Software didn’t really design the game to be appealing to travel back to old locations and farm specific bosses. They incentivized you to farm the Chaos Chambers as the drop rates are better there. Only by grinding the Chaos Trials can you increase your loot luck high enough to get decent drops from bosses outside the Chaos Chamber. However, the community expressed their feelings that this is a tedious job, definitely when trying to make your way to Chaos Level 100.

The Purpose of Vault Cards

I believe that the concept of Vault Cards from Borderlands 3 could be great in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. Because they provided a good incentive to you for visiting various locations in the game. Vault Cards gave you challenges complete as you needed to go out into the world and do various tasks.

By completing these challenges you earn bonus XP that helps level up your Vault Card tasks and therefore you are able to unlock new items.

Borderlands 3 did a good job at offering a variety of rewards with each Vault Card. There were new legendary weapons and a ton of cosmetic items. These items gave you a purpose instead of booting up the game and aimlessly running around.

Vault Cards alone can’t fix all of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ end game, however, they can help players against Chaos Chamber fatigue.

New Wonderlands Experiences

Gearbox President, Randy Pitchford, has stated they are working on new Wonderlands experiences. I have no idea what the future will bring but like you, I would love to see more end-game content for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. New areas, Raid Bosses, and Takedowns are all welcome but I believe Vault Cards can provide that nice sauce that blends things together.

An interesting thing is that if you look at the UI Mockup on Artstation there already is a third progress bar designed for the game. One for your regular XP, one for your Myth Rank, and one that’s currently not used. However, this was exactly the same progress implementation that Borderlands 3 has for its Vault Cards.

Thanks and please leave your opinion in the comment, I would love to hear your thoughts about this.
