Players leaving the match has been an issue in a competitive multiplayer but will they soon be replaced with bots? Well, this is an idea I have pitched before but never got any solid feedback on it from Gearbox. But this week the Creative Director of Battleborn confirmed that they are looking into upgrading the AI bots in Battleborn. Randy said that he can’t promise it’s going to happen, but he will put it on the table. The bots in Battleborn aren’t very advanced, but with the current popularity of bots battle, this could change. Back-filling a match with the current bot could lead to feeding the enemy team with free kills, which would result in quick and easy XP and score. So this results in the following question, is back-filling the match with bots an improvement or does it hurt the PvP experience?
After making this video the new battleplan (37) went live and GBX confirmed they are looking into the possibilities.
