Will Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands have a Skill Tree Customizer?

Multi-Class Hero

In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, you will be able to create your own multi-class hero. 1 character that can do it all, but how does this actually work? A Multi-class hero is kinda a jack of all trades, however, their role is determined by the choices that they make. Borderlands has always had Multi-class heroes as the soldier could also be the healer.

But with this article, I wonder if we will see the focused skill trees return that dived deep in specific character classes.

Class focused Skill Trees

Will we see class-focused skill trees return? Throughout the Borderlands series, we have seen the skill trees evolve to work with everything. In the first Borderlands game, you needed to pick Mordecai if you wanted to be the Sniper or Pistol player, as he had dedicated skills in his skill tree for that. In the following games these types of skills got changed to general weapon skills.

  • Ranged Weapon Skill Tree
  • Melee Weapon Skill Tree
  • Magic Spell Skill Tree
  • Pet Class Skill Tree
  • Survivor Skill Tree

Mix and Match Skill Trees

How many skill trees will we have? I don’t think we will get the equivalent of 1 Borderlands Vault Hunter. So if we have 1 character that we can customize is Gearbox making 12 skill trees and letting us pick and choose? Having 12 skill trees seems a lot and how are you going to create a menu for that? Will those 12 be divided into 3 colors and you can only choose 1 skill tree from each color? Then I have the following question, how will these skill trees interact with each other? I assume that they will then be more stand-alone and I would like to see some synergy between skill trees.

Action Skill

Borderlands 3 is the first Borderlands game that lets you choose between multiple actions skills. Will we also see 12 different actions skills and will they be as interchangeable as in Borderlands 3 or are they locked to the skill trees you select?

This whole article is giving me more questions than answers. While Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is build upon the Borderlands 3 foundation it actually throw things in a completely different direction. Be sure to let me know what kind of skill trees you would like to see in TTWL.
