The Absolute Zero is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Maliwan Laser excels at freezing targets at close range. It has a short-medium effective range, high freeze chance, and high rate of fire, and a small magazine size.

How to get the Absolute Zero ?:
The Absolute Zero can be obtained as a rare drop by EOS in the Claptastic Voyage DLC.
How to Grind the Absolute Zero ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Absolute Zero. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary weapons and 1 Purple laser weapon to obtain a random legendary laser. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
Notes:
- Wilhelm’s skill Laser Focus increases laser magazine size by flat values, not percentages, so at 5/5 and 10/5 it doubles and triples the Absolute Zero’s magazine size, respectively.
- Claptrap has explosive skills (Load ‘n Splode, Start with a Bang) that synergize directly with frequent reloads, which in turn synergize with the fact that Frozen enemies take increased explosive damage, making the Absolute Zero a potentially devastating weapon in the hands of an explosive-oriented Claptrap player.
- Nisha has skills (Quick Shot, Hell’s Comin’ With Me) that grant significant bonuses upon reloading.
