The Berriganis a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Vladof Rocket Launcher is because of its extremely efficient ammo consumption and high projectile count useful in a wide range of situations. It may be useful in some situations for getting second winds; it is important to note that the Berrigan suffers a burst fire delay between trigger pulls. This is actually longer than the time the weapon takes to burst fire. This weapon behavior can seriously hamper the ability to quickly revive a player.
Element:
Shock, Incendiary, Corrosive, Cryo, or Explosive
Special Weapon Effects:
“Your gun is good, but mine is better!”
Fires a 3 shot burst, firing 2 rockets at a time. Only uses 1 ammo per trigger pull.
How to get the Berrigan ?:
The Berrigan can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
How to Grind the Berrigan ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Berrigan. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary Weapons and 1 Purple Rocket Launcher to obtain a random legendary Rocket Launcher. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
Notes:
- It was first shown in a promotional image for The Holodome Onslaught, along with the Cry Baby, Plunkett, Party Line, Boxxy Gunn and the T4s-R.
- The Berrigan has a very similar special effect to the Scav-manufactured Badaboom. The Badaboom however has a larger magazine, higher damage, and no burst fire delay. This leaves the Berrigan with only somewhat superior reload speed.
Trivia:
- Level artist Brad Sierzega named the Berrigan in memory of a close friend who had passed away before the completion of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
