The Impaler is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This Pangolin Shield will always spawn with the same shield components, 1x Impaler and 2x Spikes.
Special Weapon Effect:

- Fires homing spikes when damaged by bullets.
- Deals corrosive damage to melee enemies when hit.
- Spawns with 2 additional shield components

Where to get the Impaler?
The Impaler has a 10% chance of dropping from the Antalope. If you want to farm this spiderant, it’s located in Devil’s Razor on Pandora. However, you can also get the Impaler randomly from any suitable loot source as a world drop.
Notes:
- The Impaler occasionally appears in Maurice’s Black Market.
- The Impaler is a returning shield from Borderlands 2 but as a Pangolin shield instead of Maliwan.
- The flavor text is a reference to the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode No Place Like Home. Spike responds to the question “What are you doing here? Five words or less.” with the quote.

I’m having a hard time getting it to drop for me but with my luck, after leaving this comment, it’ll probably drop. That kind of thing usually happens to me out of nowhere which is kind of funny, but still. I am having a hard time with it right now hopefully it’ll fix itself.
