Changelog:
- Major Patch – May 28, 2026
- Dev Note: We’ve been looking at this piece of gear for some time now. Given that this gun simultaneously counts as an assault rifle, pistol, shotgun, sniper rifle, and SMG, we saw it quintuple dipping from bonuses derived from generic Gun Damage. We decided not to change that this gun can still be counted as each of those weapon types simultaneously, but we did elect to reduce how the Bod scales with generic Gun Damage.
- The Bod’s damage scaling from Gun Damage will decrease by about 60%
- The increased damage tied to specific gun types still scales appropriately at 100% (Assault Rifle Damage, etc.)
My Perspective:
The Bod is great for completing Challenges as it counts as every weapon type. Another great benefit is that it always aligns with the Passive Weapon Type Stat Boots on your Enhancement.
