The Cat o’ Nine Tails is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Dahl Laser is a tricky weapon best used in indirect fire. When fired against walls or floors, its ricocheting bolts scatter into 9 projectiles, giving it a high damage potential compared to other blasters, at the cost of having a somewhat steep learning curve.

The LCat o’ Nine Tails is obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
How to Grind the Cat o’ Nine Tails ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Cat o’ Nine Tails. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary weapons and 1 Purple laser weapon to obtain a random legendary laser. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
Notes:
- Gladiators taking advantage of Maelstrom can potentially wield this weapon to great effect, particularly against groups of targets. When used properly, it can accumulate 100+ stacks of Maelstrom nearly instantly, and maintain 200+ by the time its magazine has been emptied. Its ricocheting effect is also extremely powerful in conjunction with Smite, greatly easing the difficulty of hitting a target while in the air.
