About the D.N.A.:
The D.N.A.is a Legendary weapon in Borderlands 3. This is a Maliwan SMG that shoots 2 projectiles of a random elemental. The 2 projectiles are connected with each other like the cutsman, however, the beam between them is really short and doesn’t extend. They travel in a circular motion like a DNA string (Double Helix).
Elements:
Incendiary, Shock, Corrosive, and Cryo
Special Weapon Effect:
“Death cannot be contained.”
- Fires random elemental projectiles
- Reduced Charge Up Time.
- Consumes 2 Ammo Per Shot
How to get the D.N.A.?:
The D.N.A. is Mayhem Mode 6 or higher Legendary and has a 16.5% chance of dropping from General Traunt who you can farm in Desolation’s Edge located on Nekrotafeyo.

The Drop Rate of the D.N.A. is 16.5%
