About the Embrace the Pain:
The Embrace the Pain is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This COV Assault Rifle is a reference to Krieg from Borderlands 2. The weapon will start with a pretty slow fire rate but will that will continue to increase as you keep firing this weapon. When the Embrace the Pain reaches its maximum fire rate it will set you on fire, however, during this phase, your gun won’t consume any ammo. So if you “Embrace the Pain” you will be rewarded.
Special Weapon Effect:
“It hurts, hahahahaha! IT HURTS!”
- Always incendiary.
- Fire Rate increases as you keep shooting.
- This gun will set you on fire when it reaches its maximum fire rate but stops consuming ammo during this phase.
Elements:
- Incendiary: Fire damage is strong against Flesh and can cause targets to burn. Burning deals high damage over a 5-second duration.

How do you get the Embrace the Pain in Borderlands 3?
The Embrace the Pain had a 6.6% chance of dropping from Hot Karl who is located in Devil’s Razor on Pandora. But since the July 2020 patch, it can only be obtained as a ‘World Drop’ from any suitable loot source.
