About the EMP:
The EMP is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This Hyperion Grenade is the ultimate shield breaker but frankly that’s the only thing it’s good for. Because the EMP does like no damage to flesh or armor. Therefore this is a great utility grenade mod. The EMP has a great blast radius and will strip enemies from their shield. On bosses, this grenade mod does eat away a chunk of their shield bar but won’t completely strip it like with normal opponents.
Elements:
Shock.
Special Weapon Effect:
“Drop the shields.”
- Always shock.
- Only damages shields.
How to get the EMP?:
The EMP can be obtained from any loot source but has a 10% chance of dropping from Atomic who is located in Tazendeer Ruins on Nekrotafeyo.
Notes:
- The EMP occasionally appears in Maurice’s Black Market.
- The special effect also counts as a bullet and can make use of gun-related skills as Hunter Seeker does.
- The grenade mod’s name and special effect refer to the disruption in electronic equipment caused by an electromagnetic pulse.
