The Esgrimidor is a Legendary Exo-Soldier Class Mod in Borderlands 4 and part of the Base Game. This class mod is exclusively for Rafa. In this gear guide, you will learn about the Esgrimidor’s unique abilities, how to obtain one for yourself, and other tips and tricks.
Unique Legendary Effect:
Quien no arriesga, no gana.
Rafa’s Melee Attacks gain a +10% Critical Hit Chance. Critical Hits with Melee Attacks restore +5% Action Skill Duration.
Bonus Skills:
Legendary Class Mods receive 7 Bonus Skill Points; the Esgrimidor randomly divides those points towards these Passive Skills in Rafa’s Skill Tree.
- Booming Business: Whenever Rafa Critically Hits an enemy, he gains a chance to spawn a Free Grenade. If Rafa has a Grenade equipped, spawn a Grenade on that.
- Dial In: Whenever Rafa damages an enemy with a Melee Attack, his Melee Attacks gain Critical Hit Chance. This Chance stacks, and all stacks are removed whenever Rafa Critically Hits an enemy.
- Empuje: Rafa gains increased Action Skill Duration.
- Cruel Accrual: Rafa gains increased Skill Damage with all Skills. The longer his Action Skill has been active, the greater the bonus.
How to get the Esgrimidor?
Queen Callis is the dedicated source for Rafa’s Esgrimidor class mod and has a 9% drop chance in Borderlands 4. You can farm her in the Moon-Called Throne, located in the Fallen Crown province, which is part of the Carcadia Burn region.
Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode increases the drop rate with 2% per UVH Rank.
Notes:
- Rafa’s Esgrimidor Class mod always comes with the ‘Melee Damage’ bonus and rolls 1 other random passive stat bonus.
- Class Mods can roll with Firmware on LVL 25 or higher.
Changelog
- Major Update – April 30, 2026
- Increased Critical Hit Chance
My Perspective:
The Esgrimidor is great if you want to keep your melee action skill up as long as possible and deal great damage with Critical Hits and Grenade Ordnances.
