About the Front Loader:
The Front Loader is a Legendary item in Borderlands 3. This Hyperion Shield has a very high shield capacity, however, you will need to sacrifice 60% of your health in order to benefit from it. That said while the Front Loader hasn’t the fastest recharge cooldown, it’s easier to replenish your shield gauge than it’s your health gauge.
Special Shield Effect:
“You could always use a little more life insurance.”
Reserves 60% of maximum health and returns it as shield capacity.
How to get the Front Loader?:
The Front Loader can be obtained from any loot source but has a 15% chance of dropping from Private Beans who is located on Athenas.
Notes:
- Health regeneration (pickups) won’t replenish your health gauge beyond the health penalty.
- The Frontloader occasionally appears in Maurice’s Black Market.
