About the Guardian 4N631:

The Guardian 4N631 is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands 3. This Hyperion Shotgun is a reference to the Guardian Angel from previous Borderlands games.

It has a unique bullet pattern that reminds me of the Sand Hawk because the orbs fly in the shape of a bird that flaps its wings. The projectiles move pretty slowly but their damage is increased the further they travel.

You kinda want to use this weapon as a long-range weapon, however, slow-moving projectiles make it kinda hard to hit a target. The projectiles do ricochet off surfaces this useful in closed-off environments.

The Guardian 4N631 is mostly used as a utility item to boost other damage types. Because other damage sources, like your grenades,  also benefit from the weapon’s damage bonus. Moze’s Gamebreaker Build uses it very creatively but you can also just throw a cloning maddening tracker from a distance while having this weapon equipped and see the increased damage do its work.

ELEMENTS:

Shock damage is strong against Shields and causes targets to be electrocuted. Electrocution deals very high damage over a 3-second duration.

Special Weapon Effect:

“You’re alive for a reason. Go get ’em kid.”

  • Unique Bullet Pattern:  flies like a bird
  • Weapon damage increases up to 500% based on distance.

How to get the Guardian 4N631?
