Hammer Buster II

The Hammer Buster II is a Legendary Weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Jakobs Assault Rifle  that boasts very high raw stats, with the exception of magazine size and recoil reduction. Its high recoil reduction is innate to its Dahl barrel, and it also boasts a 50% additive crit bonus and 15% multiplicative crit bonus.

Shots will penetrate enemies. The gun also has a unusually high bullet damage compared to similar rifles.

How to get the Hammer Buster II ?:

 The Hammer Buster II   can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.

How to Grind the Hammer Buster II ?:

You can use the Grinder to create the Hammer Buster II. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendaries + 1 Purple Assault Rifle to obtain a random legendary assault rifle. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.

Notes:

In terms of game mechanics, Hammer Buster II’s penetration ability works similarly to Zer0’s skill B0re, though the continuing shot receives no damage bonus. A Nisha with The Unforgiven can exploit this to inflict massive damage on enemies with overlapping hitboxes.

Trivia:

• The name and flavor text of the weapon is a direct reference to the Hammer Buster, an extremely similar weapon from Borderlands 2, which is in turn a reference to the Gears of War series of games and novels.
