How to get the Life Ring?
The Life Ring can be obtained from a Golden Chest located in Kaltus. The chest can be found in the Abandoned Outpost. It’s in the same room as the Fast-Travel Portal but it’s locked behind a gate. You will quickly need to shoot the 3 switches in order to open the gate. 2 switches are to the left side of the gate while 1 sits directly on top of the gate.
