The IVF is a Legendary weapon in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Tediore SMG has increased base stats compared to other Tediore sub-machine guns. Upon reloading you will throw the IVF away just like other Tediore weapons. On detonation the weapon will spawn 2 smaller guns/projectiles that will also explode. This somewhat turns this “grenade” toss into a MIRV “grenade“.

Shock, Incendiary, Corrosive, Cryo, or None
Special Weapon Effects:
“OMG! TWINS!”
Upon reloading, it is thrown like a typical Tediore weapon and explodes. The resulting explosion results in two smaller guns which also explode. The smaller guns deal reduced damage.
How to get the IVF ?:
The IVF can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source, but has an increased chance to drop from The Bosun located in Pity’s Fall.
How to Grind the IVF ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the IVF. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 2 Legendary weapons and 1 Purple SMG to obtain a random legendary SMG. Be sure to make it a luneshine grind for a “guaranteed” legendary and also get a chance of getting a luneshine buff.
