The Kala is a Legendary item in Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. This Vladof Shield does not only absorb bullets it also absorbs shock damage. The Kala makes you immune to shock damage and uses that energy to recharge your shield to full capacity. While normal shields are weak against shock damage this shield negates that by making it beneficial and strengthen your survival instead of demising it.

How to get the Kala ?:
The Kala can be obtained randomly from any suitable loot source.
How to Grind the Kala ?:
You can use the Grinder to create the Kala. While there is no guaranteed recipe, you can combine 3 Purple Shields to obtain a random legendary shield.

- The shield and its flavor text refer to Flash Gordon antagonist General Kala. The flavor text is a direct quote from General Kala, said as Flash piloted Ajax towards the wedding ceremony.
